A great honor for Kamal Miller

The Canadian men’s soccer team has been having some great times lately and that is in part thanks to CF Montreal defenseman Kamal Miller, who was voted Canada Soccer Player of the Month for November on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old full-back, who is taking on more and more national team responsibilities, has had one of the most productive months of his career. The Ontarian has played every minute of Canada’s last two wins in Edmonton, over Costa Rica and Mexico.

With Miller in the lineup, the maple leaf allowed just one goal in November, taking the lead in the CONCACAF qualifying standings for the 2022 World Cup at the same time. The defender was elected. within the typical Confederation team after the two meetings.

With CF Montreal, Miller scored the first goal of his career in Major League Soccer on November 4. He also helped the Bleu-Blanc-Noir get their hands on the Canadian Championship, shutting out Toronto FC in the process.

On the women’s side, the player who stood out the most in November was midfielder Jessie Fleming. She received this honor for the third time this year.
