The PQ leader goes further and accuses François Legault of contributing to the deterioration and polarization of the political climate. “All themes are subject to polarization, it is increasingly demanding to have a benevolent debate on the future. Paul St-Pierre Plamondon then answered questions about increasing security around the leaders of political parties. Since the beginning of the campaign, it is not uncommon to observe at least a dozen police officers around the PQ leader during announcements. “They are doing excellent work, but we will not hide the fact that it is still a transformation of the political climate in Quebec,” he observed.
