a giant screen at the Carreau des Halles for the final against Mont-de-Marsan

It was finally the Carreau des Halles in Bayonne that was chosen to host the giant screen retransmitting the pro D2 final between Aviron Bayonnais and Mont-de-Marsan Sunday, at 5:45 p.m. The town hall decided after a period of hesitation, due to uncertain weather.

The screen of around 40 square meters will be installed with its back to the Nive to allow Aviron supporters to follow the match in the town centre. The place was preferred over Liberty Square, in front of the town hall, because it does not require a traffic cut, although it is smaller. Cafes and restaurants will also be able to broadcast the final on their own screens.

In the event of rain, the city still mobilized its services and partners to see if it would be possible to withdraw to another location. She gives herself until Friday to decide definitively: if the weather forecast is worse than expected, the Lauga room could then be preferred.
