A German holidaymaker rescued by helicopter in the Gorges du Toulourenc

The season is not over yet. And helicopter interventions either. This Thursday at midday, a 61-year-old German had a bad fall on a rock in the Gorges du Toulourenc. He injured his femur. It was a Bouches-du-Rhône civil security helicopter that intervened with a doctor and two mountain rescue firefighters on board (one from Bouches-du-Rhône, the other from Drôme). The Dragon was able to winch the injured man out of the Gorges and he was then transferred to the hospital in Carpentras.

There will remain from this misadventure a pretty drawing made by the wife of the German tourist to describe this very special moment of vacation.
