A general practitioner from Nancy, also a gynecologist, was indicted on March 22 for rape and sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl, France Bleu Sud Lorraine said on Sunday April 3. The doctor had been placed in police custody the same day for facts dating back to July 6, 2021, according to the parents who filed the complaint.
Indicted, this man was also placed under judicial control which notably prohibits him from practicing medicine as well as any activity related to minors. The Order of Physicians of Meurthe-et-Moselle is looking for a solution for its patients, welcomed to the office by the red tape of judicial seals placed on the door.
According to the president of the Order of Physicians, the man, installed for years, had never been the subject of such accusations within the Council of the Order.
