This Tuesday, March 8, the Bourg-de-Péage handball club taught its players that a last-minute investor allowed them to ensure the end of the women’s league season. The SAS which manages the professional part and which has a deficit of 600,000 euros risks filing for bankruptcy. This Wednesday, the club communicates the name of this mysterious donor: it is the insurance company LNA Solutions based in Sommières in the Gard directed by Jean and Nathalie Pamart. The couple “very interested in development projects in the world of handball, also has the firm intention of investing more for the next seasons”can we read in the press release.
The investment, probably around 100,000 euros, will allow the 2021/2022 season to be completed. The “Bees” are 7th in the standings after the penalties imposed the month for financial reasons. The club did not send the accounting documents to the financial policeman of the federation in time. LNA Solutions have already been official partners since 2019 of UCAM Nîmes Gard, a hand club that plays in the Lidl Starligue, the highest level of men’s hand.
