a game organized for children allows them to “discover differently” the abbey of Noirlac

The Easter bells have passed at Noirlac Abbey! But to change from the traditional chocolate egg hunt, they decided to spice things up a bit. Before you can feast on the delicacies, you must first discover the answer to a series of egg-themed puzzles. The abbey offers an Easter game, an original way to visit this Cistercian abbey whose construction began in the middle of the 12th century.

It’s a family game (parents and children rack their brains!). Equipped with a tablet or a smartphone, each family explores the building and the park in search of clues. “The idea is to solve nine puzzles, explains Benjamin Payet, nature mediator at the abbey, who designed the animation. Each one will give you a puzzle piece, which will then allow you to locate the golden egg, on which is written the number of the compartment where the chocolate eggs are hidden.. To collect all the pieces of the puzzle, you must therefore explore all the rooms of the abbey.

The Easter game continues this Monday, April 18 at Noirlac Abbey, between 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. For prices, count between 4.5 and 7 euros for adults, and it’s free for children under 12 years old.
