He was 50 years old. A former member of the special forces, the Frenchman had become an instructor with the forest guards of a national park in northern Benin. On Wednesday, the NGO African Parks, which manages this wildlife reserve, announced the death of several of its employees. The vehicles would have jumped on an explosive device, then the French instructor and his men would have been attacked. Result: 9 dead and 12 injured.
