A French subsidiary of Coca-Cola paid 42 million euros in May as part of a tax adjustment

Having undergone tax audits covering the years 2014 to 2023, Coca-Cola Services France “received in May 2024 a notification of tax adjustments for all the tax years concerned”, it specifies in its official accounts.

Coca-Cola Services France (CCSF), the French subsidiary of the American soda giant, paid out more than 42 million euros in May following a tax adjustment covering 2014 and 2015, and set aside nearly 104 million euros in total, according to its official accounts, consulted on Wednesday July 24 by AFP.

Having undergone tax audits by the French tax authorities covering the years 2014 to 2023, CCSF has “received in May 2024 a notification of tax adjustments for all tax years concerned”she declares in her accounts for the year 2023, filed at the beginning of July at the Nanterre commercial court.

She has “established a provision for risks in the amount of 103,876,169 euros”in order to “cover the outflows (…) linked to the settlement of tax adjustments” and carried out in May “a payment following the tax adjustment” concerning 2014 and 2015, in the amount of 42,044,848 euros.
