All young players dream of one day playing for the French rugby team. On the pitch at Soissons, in Aisne, training is intense. However, some of these young people are just getting started. More and more women are playing rugby
This phenomenon can be explained by the enthusiasm raised by the Rugby World Cup organized by France in September 2023. Since then, the French rugby federation has recorded an increase in the number of licensees of 15%. Girls and boys were inspired by the exploits of the French XV: in Clamart (Hauts-de-Seine), four new recruits joined the women’s team. The young players hope that other women will be tempted by the oval ball.
