a French association collects Christmas toys

After a long journey, an exceptional convoy arrives in Ukraine, in a zone far from the conflict. In the boxes, thousands of toys collected by the Occitanie-Ukraine association. “Thank you to all the generous donors, to town halls, to schools”, said one of the members. This is to offer a little joy for a day and see the smile on the faces of children, whose lives are marked by a war that has lasted for almost two years. The gifts are intended for children who have lost a mother, a father or both parents.

Moved volunteers

The next day, a big party was organized. In the room, there are French volunteers, very moved. “Our reward is the smiles of these children, it is an action that was close to our hearts for our 100th truck of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, we can say that it is a success,” comments one of the members of the association.
