A man was indicted in Paris in the investigation into the attack perpetrated on October 16 in Brussels, the national anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office (Pnat) announced to AFP on Saturday. The individual is suspected of“helped to arm the main perpetrator”, specified the Pnat. He was indicted for “criminal terrorist association” and “complicity in assassinations in relation to a terrorist enterprise”. This is the fourth indictment in this investigation in France.
The weapon attack cost the lives of two Swedes who came to support their national football team for a match in Brussels. Another 70-year-old Swede was also injured. The attacker Abdesalem Lassoued, a 45-year-old radicalized Tunisianhad was shot dead the next day by Belgian police.
On October 24, two men, Tunisians aged around forty and fifty, living in the Paris region, were indicted in Paris. At the end of October, a third man, whose nationality was not specified, was in turn indicted and imprisoned for “criminal terrorist association” and “complicity in assassinations in relation to a terrorist enterprise”.
