A former supervisor of a private college in Rouen (Seine-Maritime) was indicted last Friday for rape of minors aged 15, revealed Tuesday April 30 France Bleu Normandie. This 49-year-old man, former presenter and former program director at France Bleu, is accused of having committed rape on his cousin and on a student at the college where he was a supervisor.

Two complaints led the Rouen public prosecutor’s office to open a judicial investigation into rape of minors aged 15. The first complaint was filed in 2022. Maxime, now 43 years old, accuses Lionel S. of having imposed caresses, masturbation and reciprocal fellatio on him during academic support sessions at Saint-Jean-Baptiste college. de-la-Salle in Rouen. Maxime was then 12 years old and Lionel S., supervisor in this establishment, was 18.

Lionel S., who left France Bleu in 2018, was sentenced in 2022 to two years in prison for sexual assault on an 8-year-old child – the son of an employee of France Bleu Normandie where he worked as a host, in the 1990s. It was this conviction that pushed Maxime, now a banker in Switzerland, to file a complaint.

A complaint filed by a cousin

A second complaint was filed in June 2022 following this conviction, this time by a cousin. Now aged 41, Sandra accuses the former radio host of having raped her when she was 6 and he was 15. “He made me sit next to him, he had a book in his hands and then he started penetrating me with his fingers and I was stunned”, she says. Sandra assures that her cousin then told her: “It’s a secret between the two of us, if you talk about it, it will go very badly”. This woman describes enduring years of physical and psychological pain afterward. She thus accuses him of being “a predator”.

After several months of investigation and hearings carried out by police officers from the juvenile brigade, Lionel S. was summoned last Wednesday to the Rouen police headquarters. He was confronted by three victims, including Maxime. He confides that he was hoping for a confession from the former host, but that he “denied everything outright”. Lionel S. was confronted by two other people: a man for whom he was an occasional babysitter and another who accused the former program director at France Bleu of having sexually assaulted him on the sidelines of a meeting. you professional in Paris in 2015, when he was 18 years old.

A young man approached on social networks

This young man says that Lionel S. first approached him on social networks. “When he subscribes to my Twitter account, sends me a message and tells me that my profile interests him for a media column at France Bleu, I am flattered”, he remembers. He explains that the first two meetings in Lionel S.’s office and during lunch went well. But he assures that during the third meeting, he made her come to his house, claiming to have to drop off a swimming pool bag. He accuses the former program director of having slipped a hand down his underwear. If the facts are prescribed for this young man, his lawyer, also Maxime’s lawyer, ensures that they allow “to shed light on the testimonies of the other plaintiffs”.

According to information from France Bleu Normandie, three other complaints were attached to the file, including two dating from 2006 which were closed for lack of sufficient evidence. Indicted on Friday, Lionel S. was placed under judicial supervision. The investigation will now continue under the direction of an investigating judge. Contacted by France Bleu Normandie, his lawyer did not wish to comment.
