A secret agent comes out of the shadows and not just anyone. Jean-François Lhuillier is the number 1 ex-spy of the French services in Libya. He was in post for the DGSE in Tripoli during the “Arab Spring”, preceding the fall of Colonel Gaddafi. His ultra-secret mission is then very clear. “This is the mission that the Elysée has given to the DGSE: ‘Make the defection of Libyan personalities who could be turned against Gaddafi.’ In this context, Jean-François Lhuillier has set himself an objective: to weaken Gaddafi in particular by obtaining the escape of his Minister of Foreign Affairs.
