This Wednesday, December 7, the LFI deputies Louis Boyard and Carlos Martens Bilongo, participated in Pessac in a conference within the Bordeaux-Montaigne University, to address the themes of student precariousness, the allocation of scholarships or the selection to the university. The meeting was disrupted by far-right activists.
“A far-right attack on two deputies“
According South Westa “group of about twenty hooded people, some of whom armed with iron bars or truncheons tried to enter the amphitheater”. The police were called to the scene around 8 p.m. to disperse the small group.
Lionel Larré, president of Bordeaux-Montaigne University regretted: “We always fear this kind of intrusion, unfortunately it is an increasingly visible presence on campuses”.

In the evening, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, quickly denounced on Twitter the facts related by the LFI deputies. While three of the members of the security service were injured, the 2022 presidential candidate tackled the Minister of the Interior: “The shame for Darmanin and his friends: another far-right attack against two deputies in conference. Three injured in our support. That’s enough“.
Back to the clash with Hanouna
An incident which occurs a few weeks after the deputy Louis Boyard launched a controversy, by participating in the program Touche pas à mon poste, hosted by Cyril Hanouna, of which he was the regular columnist in the program “Swing your post”. His name was very often quoted by the media because of his clash with Baba, who called him “shit“, of”fool“, of “jester” and of “funny“, for having criticized Vincent Bolloré, boss of the group Canal + (of which C8 is one of the channels), live during its broadcast.
