A former ADQ will defend the conservatives in Charlesbourg

The Conservative Party of Quebec (PCQ) is presenting former ADQ member Jean Domingue to try to win the riding of Charlesbourg from the Minister of Energy, Jonatan Julien.

Aged 59, Mr. Domingue represented Bellechasse in the National Assembly from March 2007 to December 2008, before bowing to the liberal Dominique Vien. He then worked as a political adviser to caquistes Jean-François Roberge and André Lamontagne from 2014 to 2019.

Mr. Domingue is making a return to politics after two years of contributing to a COVID screening center, an experience which he says opened his eyes to “the sorry state of the Quebec health system”.
