A first automatic flower dispenser open 24 hours a day in the Dordogne

We knew the vending machine for bread, meat, and even fresh fish near Sanilhac. The Dordogne now has its first vending machine for bouquets of flowers. Aurore Conchou, florist for 13 years in large chains in the sector, decided during the health crisis to go on her own and open her own business, Les Ateliers de saison. She was the guest of the Nouvelle Eco, this Tuesday morning on France Bleu Périgord.

But for her, no shop: “I needed to be able to travel for weddings, and not to be locked between four walls”, assures Aurore Conchou. “And a shop is expensive when you go alone, it’s complicated to collect the deliveries. At home, I can pick up my flowers directly from the producer”.

I try to be on Saturdays and Sundays next to the kiosk to interact with the client. It’s a machine but there’s a human behind

Instead, Aurore Conchou works from her garage, ordering bouquets on her website for weddings or parties. And for proximity, she opened a automatic flower kiosk, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, next to Fournil Périgourdin on rue de la Resistance in Prigonrieux. You can pay by credit card, for bouquets between € 20 and € 40.
