A fire broke out overnight from Monday to Tuesday, in a maid’s room on avenue de l’Amiral Hamelin, in the Chaillot district in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. About fifty firefighters helped by two nozzles intervened. They discovered a body after the fire was out, around 3 a.m. The victim has not yet been identified. The fire also left four lightly injured, three of whom were firefighters. The maid’s room and the roof are completely destroyed. The inhabitants were not evacuated.
