Nearly 400m² went up in smoke this Saturday afternoon on the site of the Chopex company in Morcenx, which specializes in the production of electricity by gasification of waste (paper, plastic, etc.). The fire broke out around 4:30 p.m., producing a large plume of smoke. He mobilized around twenty firefighters from the department.
The fire is “stabilized” and should not spread to other buildings. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
