A fire broke out this Thursday evening rue Vanneau in Rennes. The firefighters were called around 10 p.m. by witnesses who pointed out a glow inside a butcher’s shop. When they arrived, heavy smoke was emerging from the store.
The fire, which would have taken at the level of the electrical installations, was quickly extinguished, but the fumes spread to an underground car park located at the rear as well as to two shops (a restaurant and a pharmacy). In total, around fifteen firefighters and three spears were mobilized. EDF, GRDF and national police officers went to the scene.
