On Tuesday’s “Le Bilan” program, the analyst said he felt an “acute disgust” among Quebecers, which translates into a general aggressive atmosphere.
“I have the impression that we are in a fight between Omicron and our fed up,” proclaims Régine Laurent.
After scrupulously following the health rules, the 90% of Quebecers who received their two doses of vaccines have been heartbroken since the health restrictions imposed at the very end of 2021, estimates Ms. Laurent.
And according to her, the government now has the challenge of motivating the silent majority to continue its efforts.
“The worst that could happen to us is that the majority of vaccinated people drop out,” says Régine Laurent.
“We can’t let our fed up win,” she adds.
The analyst says that several vaccinated people were frustrated to learn that François Legault had decided to abandon the “vacctax”.
They no longer see so many advantages in having received their doses of vaccine. And now they wish they could go back to their normal lives.
“What I sense is that people don’t want to take it easy. People can’t wait for there to be a deconfinement”
