Star couple of season 15 of the show “Love is in the meadow”, Mathieu and Alexandre have sadly just announced their divorce. “Today, we separate, by mutual agreement. Well, we call each other every day. We lived two extraordinary years, really. We traveled a lot. But at one point, Alexandre had to struggling to find his place. I think he needed a quieter, less turbulent life. He wanted to be stable, a more traditional life.” said the farmer on the set of the program “Chez Jordan”.
If those who formed the first homosexual couple to marry thanks to the famous program of the M6 channel had the intention of becoming parents, Mathieu assured that he intends to pursue this family project in solo.

“For those who know, I have an incurable disease, so I have the urgency of life. And he is 20 years younger than me, he has less urgency, he wants a more homely life … I have lots of projects, I have a somewhat hyperactive life. We stayed two and a half years together and he could no longer find his place in the life that I offered him in this somewhat abrupt life” he further explained.
“We thought it was better to leave each other still loving each other. I think there’s something important in love is when you know that someone is not well somewhere, you have to know how to let it go” he concluded.
