Charlevoix will meet Italy during the fifth Cuisine Cinéma et Confidences festival, from November 4 to 6, in Baie-Saint-Paul.
Posted at 1:00 p.m.
The Saturday gala evening, inspired by the classic Big Nightby Stanley Tucci and Campbell Scott, will allow you to taste the cuisines of Pasquale Vari (ITHQ), Guillaume St-Pierre (Battuto, Quebec) and Pierre-Olivier Ferry (Culinary workshop in Métis-sur-Mer), in the dining room Multi from the Le Germain Charlevoix hotel and spa.
There will also be workshops on wine (with sommelier Joris Gutierrez Garcia), tiramisu (Liza Frulla and Soeur Angèle), risotto (Pasquale Vari) and gelato (Pierre-Olivier Ferry), followed by screenings films, culinary tours, etc.
Friday’s opening night, around the documentary truffle hunters, is particularly desirable. The guest chefs for this grand meal come from three renowned Maine restaurants.
In addition, the Germain Charlevoix gourmet restaurant reopened this fall, after two years of closure. Chef Patrick Dubé is still at the helm, with a menu based on products from the region and the hotel’s gardens.
