Around 4:30 p.m. this Tuesday afternoon, a car left the road on the RD 1091 near Livet-et-Gavet in Oisans, before hitting a tree on the side. In the vehicle, a 77-year-old woman was in cardio-respiratory arrest when help arrived. Despite their efforts, she could not be revived. The other occupant of the vehicle, a 44-year-old man, was slightly injured in the accident.
Three other road accidents this Tuesday afternoon in Isère
The firefighters and the SMUR were also mobilized on three other traffic accidents this Tuesday afternoon in Isère. At around 1:15 p.m. in Saint-Alban-du-Rhône, a head-on collision between two cars injured two people: a 31-year-old woman who was seriously affected and who had to be transported to the shock absorber department of the Lyon-Sud hospital, and a man from 29 years old slightly injured. The latter was evacuated to the hospital in Vienna.
A little later in Seyssinet-Pariset in the Grenoble conurbation, a 20-year-old young man was knocked down by a car on the boulevard de l’Europe. The circumstances of this accident are unknown. Seriously injured, the young man was transported to the shock treatment department of the Grenoble University Hospital.
Finally in Savas-Mépin (near Saint-Jean-de-Bournay), a cyclist fell, alone, on the road. Aged 72 and seriously injured, he was transported to the shock treatment department of Lyon-Sud hospital.
