Forty years later, here they are again, immersed in an impossible love story, in the film The Green Shutters. “They are both passionate about their job, and at the same time the more they deviate, the more they come back. I really liked this relationship of mad love and waste”, says Fanny Ardant. The film is an adaptation of a novel by Georges Simenon, written in 1950. To 89 years old, Jean Becker adapts it to the cinema, with Gérard Depardieu as evidence. “He is certainly the greatest actor of this century”says the director.
