Samuel signed up and was selected by the organizers after a good rally from Morocco in October this year. “The Dakar has become more professional and as places are expensive, you have to have taken part in one or more races to be chosen”, explains the Drômois. “In Morocco, it went well and therefore I was taken”, he continues.

He can also count on the support of his wife. She will be on her team. “In Morocco, she had stayed in France but there I wanted her to be able to experience the emotions of the Dakar. She follows me on all my races and I want us to share that together. It will be a huge support for sure. “, says Samuel again. As for a possible objective, Samuel wants to be humble. “Finishing the race, given the difficulty of the event, is already a victory in itself. And then the last stage, January 14, is my wife’s birthday. My goal is to finish, to cross the finish line and give him this gift “, concludes Samuel.
