The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Department (SPAL) is investigating the murder of a woman in their sixties and an octogenarian who occurred around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on Boulevard des Ormeaux.
The SPAL went to the scene in response to a 911 call concerning two people found unconscious. A third person was at the scene and was taken to hospital by ambulance due to nervous shock.
Early Wednesday evening, SPAL confirmed on its Facebook page that “the victims were not targeted at random”. Agent Mélanie Mercille indicated to the Duty that a “person of interest” would be questioned shortly in this case.
