a double from the French Riviera at the Portuguese Grand Prix

It is the second French double in Moto GP and it is also from the French Riviera. Nice’s Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) easily won the Portuguese Grand Prix this Sunday, April 24 in front of his compatriot from Cannes Johann Zarco (Ducati-Pramac) who comes second. Fabio Quartararo thus takes the lead in the world championship on equal points with the Spaniard Alex Rins (Suzuki) who finished fourth. Quartararo largely dominated the race, finishing more than five seconds ahead of Zarco, who started from pole position. The latter took advantage of the clash between the Spaniard Joan Mir (Suzuki) and the Australian Jack Miller (Ducati) while the three drivers were fighting for 2nd place.
