A diversified program for the Théâtre Aux Écuries

Wrestling theatre, puppetry, object theatre, creations combining text and movement: the 2022-2023 season of the Stables promises to be diversified to say the least.

Indeed, the seasonal program unveiled Tuesday evening brings together 12 shows that are surprising, starting with the two creations that launch the activities in September: Agamemnon In The Ring and Dick The Turd. Their particularity? They mix wrestling and theatre. They are also part of a larger event still called royalmania where several activities are offered.

Other shows expected in the theater on rue Chabot: Duet in piecesa collective piece on the notion of couple, a dancing funeral vigil entitled Ghosts, good good which deals with the reality of second-generation Chinese women in the West and Fabulator Species which brings together actors and non-actors around a reflection on the erosion of industrial civilization.

Also on the program: three object theater works by la Pire Espèce, a hybrid show entitled The Collapse Show That Won’t Happen and return to the stage of the play The clone is sad as well as a puppet show Arctic gossip.

Several special activities and occasional events (including the Never Read Festival) are also added to this program
