The massive return to teleworking is one of the key measures announced by Jean Castex on Monday, December 27. From the start of the school year, it will be compulsory, when possible, at a minimum of three days per week, or even four. A measure difficult to understand and especially to apply, for some companies.

For ten days already, Agriconomie, a company specializing in the sale of agricultural equipment, has opted for teleworking for everyone, three days a week. “Usually there are 70 of us (…) and today we have five employees in Paris”, explains Paolin Pascot, co-founder of Agriconomie. If the decision was rather well received by the employees, it is not always easy to manage on a daily basis. “You lose sight of your team, and therefore that requires special attention on the organization and on the management”, says an employee.

As of January 3, these three days of teleworking per week will be compulsory in all companies. But at Agroconomie, it is especially for the 13 new hires that the situation will be the most complicated. “How will we manage to transmit the corporate culture to them, to create the collective?”, asks Paolin Pascot. Teleworking three days a week will be compulsory until at least January 23.
