A show by Dieudonné, scheduled for Sunday April 7 near Colmar (Haut-Rhin), was banned by the prefecture, announced the prefect of Haut-Rhin in a press release. His show, Under bracelet: an extraordinary spectaclehad to stand “in a secret location and only revealed for a few hours” before the start of the performance “to people who have purchased a ticket”specifies the prefect.

Dieudonné “having already been the subject of numerous criminal convictions for having made speeches that deny the Holocaust and incite racial hatred, and because of their consequences on public order”the prefect of Haut-Rhin decided to issue an order for “prohibit the performance of the said show throughout the Haut-Rhin territory”.

Similar prefectural decrees have been taken in recent weeks in Loire-Atlantique, Gard and Haut-Rhin. In Gard, justice finally authorized the Dieudonné show.
