A week after a frustrating ninth place in Qatar on the Losail circuit, Fabio Quartararo wants to recover immediately so as not to leave room for doubt, on Sunday March 20, at the Indonesia Grand Prix. Not helped by his machine at the opening of the season, he seems to have regained power in Mandalika, which allowed him to achieve pole position on Saturday, his first this season.
On the handlebars of his Yamaha, the Frenchman beat Pramac’s two overpowering Ducati with Jorge Martin and Johann Zarco, who will therefore start from the front row.
Enea Bastianini, winner for the first time in Moto GP at Losail, will start from 5th place. Marc Marquez (Honda) crashed twice in qualifying and set the 14th fastest time.
