(Montreal) A 37-year-old cyclist died Monday on Bromont mountain, in Estrie.
Patrollers were called to the mountain’s “La Sept” trail around 1:30 p.m. Monday. The trail is classified as difficult on the Bromont, montagne d’expériences trail map.
“The patrol performed first aid before the victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where the 37-year-old man was pronounced dead later in the evening,” the station said in a statement Thursday.
The Bromont Police Department is conducting an investigation to shed light on the circumstances of this event.
