Mayor Horizons of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes), Christian Estrosi announces that he will put in place a curfew for children under 13 from May “for the summer period”reports France Bleu Azur this Tuesday.

“I will reactivate the curfew for minors under 13 during the summer period from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.,” writes Christian Estrosi in a press release Tuesday April 23. This curfew had already been put in place in the city before 2020, specifies France Bleu Azur. “The fact that a child under 13 is with his parents at night should not be the result of the will of a Mayor”also writes Christian Estrosi. “As common sense and parental responsibility are sometimes lacking and the law does not have the courage to take action, I take my responsibilities.”

The mayor of Nice finally ensures that if a child is “found alone at night”, he will ask the prosecution “the possibility of issuing a call to order”. “In the event of a repeat offense, I would like to be able to summon them to a compulsory parenting course”he finishes.
