Since early April, Yemen has been living a fragile truce after years of conflict. A ceasefire renewed by the UN (United Nations Organization) finally allows planes to bring in basic necessities from abroad. Sanaa, the capital, is the most affected. It was in this city that everything happened in 2014, when the Houthi rebels took possession of it, triggering the armed reaction of the neighboring country, Saudi Arabia.

Yemen, the poorest country in the Arabian Peninsula, is also the diplomatic playground of its neighbours. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates support the official Sunni government. Facing them, the Houthi rebels, Shiites, are defended by Iran. In seven years, 380,000 Yemenis have perished. Most of them did not die from the bombs, but rather from starvation or disease.
