A Concorde, which belongs to the Intrepid museum in New York, returned to its location on a Manhattan pier on Thursday, after seven months of work.
The supersonic plane was transported by barge across the Hudson River and was lifted by a crane onto Pier 86, officials said.

The aircraft left the pier on August 9, 2023 for a restoration project in Brooklyn that included sandblasting and painting.
This British Airways Concorde still holds the record for the fastest transatlantic crossing by a passenger plane: 2 hours, 52 minutes and 59 seconds between Heathrow (London) and JFK (New York).
