Quelques mois après Taylor Swift et Beyoncé, c’est au tour de Lady Gaga de sortir un film basé sur sa plus récente tournée, a annoncé la chanteuse américaine sur les réseaux sociaux mercredi.
« J’ai passé d’innombrables heures dans la salle de montage pour donner vie à ma vision de ce film. C’est mon cadeau pour vous », a écrit, sur Instagram, Lady Gaga, qui a réalisé et produit Gaga Chromatica Ball.
Les images ont été tournées à Los Angeles, en septembre 2022, alors que la vedette performait devant une foule de 52 000 personnes au Dodger Stadium.
« Revisiter la tournée m’a laissé sans voix […]. You moved for music and for art with a level of excitement and freedom that I will never forget. Stadium after stadium,” she adds, for the benefit of her fans who attended the concerts she gave all over the world between July and September 2022. The singer’s sixth international tour, The Chromatica Ball did not stop in Montreal.
The concert film will be broadcast on HBO on May 25. In Canada, it will be offered on Crave in English and in a subtitled version in French from the same date.
This is not the first time that the star has given a second life to a tour thanks to the small screen. In 2011, The Monster Ball had also been the subject of a film.
