Cécile and Florent’s Connection Deepens
During a stroll, Hugo stumbles upon a wall bearing the florist’s name. Once he arrives at the police station, he dives into articles about Christophe, sharing with Yann that he’s found some unbelievable discussions surrounding the florist. Surprisingly, many view him as a hero rather than a villain. Hugo finds it outrageous, yet feels powerless to change the narrative.
Meanwhile, at school, Tom encounters Achille, who reveals plans to meet Charlotte later in the day for a presentation project. Achille feels quite taken aback by Charlotte. Tom encourages him to pursue his interest. Later, Achille gives Charlotte a tour of his home.
While preparing to snap a selfie, Achille notices a photo of a young woman on Charlotte’s phone wallpaper. She shares that the photo is of her best friend, who tragically passed away last year. Charlotte recounts being with her friend during that fateful day, when she suffocated after taking Buddha Blue. Despite Charlotte’s desperate call to emergency services, her friend was gone by the time help arrived. She explains to Achille how Christophe sought revenge by taking down the leader of the drug network responsible for her friend’s death.
Meanwhile, Cécile collaborates with Chloé on a burglary reconstruction file. Chloé seizes the moment to tease Cécile about her feelings for Florent. Cécile insists she’s not interested, but Chloé remains skeptical. Eventually, Cécile concedes that she finds him appealing but isn’t ready for a new relationship. Chloé reminds her that dating Florent doesn’t have to lead to commitment and encourages her to enjoy life without worrying about the future. Cécile, however, is hesitant, especially when it comes to a lawyer.
After the reconstruction, Cécile accompanies Florent to his car, only to discover he has a flat tire. Jokingly, she asks if he knows how to change it. Florent confidently asserts he does. As he struggles with the tire, Cécile lends a hand, but neither is particularly skilled at the task. They share a laugh as they manage to fix the tire together. Grateful for her assistance, Florent thanks her. Cécile playfully remarks that she didn’t expect him to pull a flat tire surprise on her. Their eyes lock, leading to an intense moment and a kiss.
Eve Uncovers Eliott’s Truth
Muriel is puzzled by Eliott’s desire to leave Montpellier. He claims they’re unhappy there, but she disagrees, highlighting her fulfilling job and their shared plans. Eliott persists, stating that his new position doesn’t offer enough financial stability to support their entrepreneurial dreams. Muriel questions whether moving to Abidjan will change that, sensing Eliott’s growing frustration.
During a meeting with Élisabeth, Muriel’s mind drifts. When she snaps back to reality, she asks Élisabeth for advice regarding Catherine’s demands. Élisabeth advises her to stand firm, but Muriel breaks down in tears and rushes out of the office.
Boris, noticing her distress, finds Muriel in the parking lot where she’s trying to gather herself. He inquires about her conflict with Élisabeth, but she brushes it off. When Boris presses about Eliott, Muriel’s temper flares as she insists he’s the last person she wants to discuss. Frustrated by Boris’s questions, she storms off.
Later, Eve seeks out Eliott at the garage, concerned for her son. Eliott, however, is irate at her intrusion. Eve tries to understand his anger, asking if he’s having issues at work or with Muriel. He urges her to stay out of his affairs, expressing regret for returning to France and longing to go back to Abidjan with Muriel.
Eve reminds him that he can’t leave due to his judicial restrictions. Unfazed, Eliott brushes off her concerns, insisting that leaving is his only option. He then tells her to leave, shutting the door in her face.
That evening, Eve meets with Charles, convinced Eliott is hiding something. When she presses for answers, Charles hesitates, fearing her reaction as the partner of a police officer. Reassuring him, Eve encourages honesty, leading Charles to reveal that Eliott owes a staggering €50,000 to a prominent dealer. Eve is left in shock.
