Evoking the music scene underground Set in Greenwich Village in the early 1960s, the biopic chronicles the young folk singer’s meteoric rise from Minnesota to New York City, following in the footsteps of his idol Woodie Guthrie, culminating in Bob Dylan’s performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival.
The film, adapted from the book Dylan Goes Electric by Elijah Wald, will be released exclusively in theaters in December 2024.
