A complaint, targeting Edouard Philippe by name, was filed Thursday September 14 by a former collaborator of the mayor of Le Havre for “illegal taking of interests”, “misappropriation of property”, “favoritism”, “bribery” and “moral harassment”, Franceinfo learned on Friday from consistent sources, confirming information from the newspaper The world.

The National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF) confirmed to franceinfo on Friday that it had received this complaint on Thursday. it was filed by the former deputy general director of the Le Havre Seine Métropole urban community, whose three-year contract was not renewed by Edouard Philippe.

According to a judicial source, this complaint specifically targets Edouard Philippe. The complainant denounces in particular a circumvention of the rules for awarding public contracts for the operation of the Digital City of Le Havre. This complaint is currently being examined by the national financial prosecutor’s office. The decision or not to open an investigation will not be known for several weeks, specifies the PNF.

Contacted by franceinfo, the plaintiff’s lawyer Christelle Mazza did not wish to comment on this complaint.
