A company specializing in software for airports is hiring in the Dordogne

Did you know that some airport check-in kiosks are designed in the Dordogne? You use them to save time before boarding your plane. The Emboss company, which belongs to an Australian group, is based in Bergerac, with 11 employees. “We design software to improve the productivity of airlines. Our flagship product allows them to check in their passengers directly at the terminals, explains Jean-Luc Rauline, Managing Director of Embross in France, guest of France Bleu Périgord. We also do automatic baggage drop-off, or software to manage aircraft locations at the airport.” The company intends to develop in the Dordogne, by hiring 18 people.

18 positions to recruit

Emboss has obtained 40,000 euros in aid from the region to develop new software and a support platform in Bergerac, 7/7, 24/24 in English and French. “It will be a real innovation, for the moment there is only one in Atlanta in the United States” welcomes Jean-Luc Rauline. The company therefore needs to recruit both developer profiles and technicians for the support platform.

“We have profiles trained in big cities and who join us at the end of their career to return to green and then we have young people at the end of their studies and who do a work-study program with us, he explains. We don’t have too much trouble recruiting.”
