In Drôme, an office fitting company has opted for a four-day week without loss of pay. So far, there is no impact on turnover. “We organize ourselves much better to save time”, says Jemlaoui Boukhari, an employee. Employees now have a three-day weekend, but only have one hour break per day. The more sustained rhythm is variously appreciated. “For the moment we are holding on. But over time, we will see. I think it will be complicated”says Axel Marazyan, an employee.

“A better work-life balance”

In offices, in the morning, it is forbidden to disturb your neighbor to better fix his attention. The frame is too rigid for some, but others have adapted. At the origin of the project, Christian Salomon, the CEO of Structa, puts forward three reasons related to human resources. “The first is to keep our talents. […] The second is our need for recruitment. […] The third is to respond to the aspirations of the moment for a better balance between private and professional life”he explains.
