This is a trend in China which proves that concern for the climate has become universal. More and more young Chinese women are renting their clothes rather than buying them.
This woman on a business trip was impatiently waiting for her package. When she travels, it is now without a suitcase: her clothes are all rented. With just one click, she has a wardrobe available. “Since I have been using this clothing rental app, I can wear 12 new items for 90 euros per month,” she specifies. This guarantees delivery within 24 hours and a choice between 10,000 models, from casual outfits to dinner dresses.

“With this mode of consumption, I no longer have laundry to do. It’s super practical”, she laughs. It is in the city of Shenzhen that the clothing rental start-up was born. In total, 40 employees work for 20,000 clients. “The average person buys 40 items of clothing per year. Of the 40, a good thirty will only be worn once or three times. Our idea is to increase the frequency of use. With us this will be worn 24 times”, explains an employee.
