It swinged again on the TPMP People set this Saturday, October 8 on C8! At the heart of the debate, the great return to the stage of Jean-Luc Lahaye who wishes to organize on December 23 next a big concert in Paris to celebrate his 70th birthday… only a few months before his release from prison. Deeply disgusted by this announcement, columnist Sophie Coste literally came out of her hinges: “I am shocked for his victims. It’s an arm of honor that he gives them when he goes back on stage”. Boosted, she continues: “I am also shocked at the way this artist has to claim his sexual preference for very young girls. He had a lot of fun with it and I find it embarrassing.”
“I am a mom and it shocks me”
Also present on Matthieu Delormeau’s set, the artist’s lawyer, Roland Perez, who does not fail to remind Sophie Coste that Jean-Luc Lahaye benefits, like everyone else, from his freedom of expression, and argues more or less adroitly: “You can say I like drugs but I don’t use them.” What has the gift of pissing off the columnist who continues: “If today at 70 years old we have the right to arrive on television and say ‘ah well I love to square up with 16-year-old girls’ , I find it lame, I find it shabby, I am a mother and it shocks me”. While the other columnists are divided on the subject, Sophie Coste can count on the support of the public who applaud her. She then continues: “The guy is on file as a sex offender with corruption of a minor, and he is there playing the rooster in a leather jacket at 70, it makes me puke”. As a reminder of the facts, Jean-Luc Lahaye was imprisoned in pre-trial detention for 6 months, from November 2021 to May 2022, and remains indicted for “rape”, “rape and sexual assault on 15-year-old minors”, as well as “corruption of minors” and awaiting trial.
