A cluster of at least thirty cases of Covid-19 were detected in Brittany two weeks after the tartiflette party at the Renac football club in Ille-et-Vilaine, reports France Bleu Armorique. 120 people had participated in this evening, during which the mask was however compulsory.
Among the participants, some went on to “been contact cases, especially in the staff of the municipality“, specifies Patrick Baudy, the mayor of this village of a thousand inhabitants.
Contaminations were also declared a few days before this event, in particular in the schools of the school group which brings together several surrounding municipalities. The tartiflette evening then “crystallized the situation“, according to the mayor quoted by France Bleu. The latter quickly reported this cluster to the Regional Health Agency. All participants are invited to be tested.
