A climber killed by a falling rock in the Vercors

A 45-year-old climber was killed by the fall of a rock, Thursday, May 9, at midday while she was climbing on the cliffs of Presles, in the Vercors, France Bleu Isère learned from the Company Republican Security Commission (CRS) of the Alps, confirming information from Dauphiné Libéré.

The CRS Alpes police officers and a Samu doctor intervened on site around 12:30 p.m. with a Civil Security helicopter but were unable to do anything and noted the death. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the CRS Alpes.
