Are you a music lover or just curious? You will love discovering the hidden talents of Mas Musici. This collective’s mission is to make classical music resonate in the heart of the rural world and to introduce neophytes to this sometimes little-known universe.
In nine dates, they tour the small stages of Creuse until August 3, 2024, offering a variety of sounds where each piece is a surprise.
The goal of Mas Musici? To promote music for what it is, without tying it to big names. “We want people to discover this musical world after feeling a ‘wow’ effect”explains Boris Benazdia, cellist and artistic director of Mas Musici. Each musician brings something unique and leaves a personal mark on each performance. And the audience feels this “wow” effect at every concert. “This is the second year in a row that I’ve come. What’s great is this solidarity between the musicians who play with pleasure”says one of the spectators, amazed by the atmosphere and the cohesion of the group.
Mas Musici is also a social experience where each concert ends with an exchange with the public around an exhibition or a meal. According to Mas Musici, it is with conviviality that music is shared.
