The draw for the Coupe de France delivered its verdict on Thursday February 8, with two 100% Ligue 1 posters in the quarter-finals: a clash between Paris Saint-Germain and OGC Nice and a duel between Olympique Lyonnais and Strasbourg . The Petit Poucet of the competition, Le Puy Foot 43 (National 2), will host another elite club, Stade Rennes. Only one poster remains uncertain, with the winner of the round of 16 between FC Rouen and AS Monaco, played Thursday evening, which will host Valenciennes, scorer of Saint-Priest (National 3), the previous Petit Poucet. The matches will take place during the week, February 27, 28 and 29.

PSG, leader of Ligue 1, inherits the most complicated opponent since they will face Nice, their runner-up. Luis Enrique’s men had already had to win against Brest, third in Ligue 1, during the round of 16 (3-1 victory). The Aiglons easily defeated Montpellier (4-1). The Coupe de France will inevitably have a new winner, since Toulouse, defending champion, was eliminated by FC Rouen in the round of 16 (3-3 defeat, 12-11 tab).

The complete draw for the Coupe de France:

Paris Saint-Germain – OGC Nice

Olympique Lyonnais – RC Strasbourg

Le Puy Foot 43 – Stade Rennes
