A few years after putting on Nathalie Morin’s ski boots in “Les Bronzés font du ski”, Josiane Balasko is back on the stage of the Théâtre desnovelties with a play she wrote herself and in which she plays.
“A chalet in Gstaad” tells the story of Françoise and Jean-Jacques Lombard. Very rich tax exiles whose fortune is based on the inventions of the husband, the couple is about to receive a couple of friends, Alicia and Grégoire Lagarde. He is a daddy’s boy industrialist, Alicia is a wealthy aristocrat and stupid to eat hay.
Everything could well happen, we are among people of the world (even if it is not necessarily the same), if Alicia had not been infatuated witha spiritual coachguru on the edges, who accompanies them to dinner.
And inevitably, the varnish will end up cracking, especially when the guru will tell them the worst: their fortune is threatened… and their “crazy dough” could well go up in smoke.
