A CD to beat Alzheimer’s disease

Like the 270,000 volunteers mobilized for the Telethon in 10,000 metropolitan and overseas municipalities and also all over the world with the Telethon for French Abroad, individual or collective initiatives are flourishing throughout France, with the aim of to put their know-how at the service of a cause.

The generosity of the French was measured for the first time by the Fondation de France, through its observatory of philanthropy, which wanted to know what donations represented, in all their forms.

Donations are different:

– financial and material

– legacy

– quests on the public highway

– crowdfunding, microdons …

Donations are both from individuals and from companies and their amount is impressive: 7.5 billion euros in a single year (Panorama national de la generosity de la Fondation de France, realized in 2018 on the donations of the year 2015).

By comparison, this is more than the Justice Department’s budget for 2019.

Organization of a fundraising event, volunteering and engagement on the web, Béa Casbianca, she decided to solicit Corsican artists in order to release a CD whose profits go to the France Alzheimer association.
